[Amazon.ca] DEWALT DCD996B Bare Tool 20V Max XR $139.00

If you are looking for a solid drill and are invested in dewalt this is a no brainer. Best price i've ever seen. It's out of stock but sold and shipped by amazon canada.

You dont need a drill with the impact but thats a hammer drill witch you need for certain jobs like piercing concrete. Good to have in case you need it.

Either can do either job. Both can also drill through concrete. One drill may be suited to do one job more than the other. One drill may require a special bit while the other can do it with regular bits.

Bought three of these last December and two have already been in for repair. The drill is to powerful especially with the 60v batteries. I had one snap in half and the other one had a broken chuck. They are in heavy use every day but my old non brushless hammer drill lasted me four years and it still works except for 3rd gear. Bought three sets with the brushless impact and two 4ah batteries for $250 boxing day last year.

All good and this is true.

I just knew as I've been watching this particular one.

IHL sells this at 129.99 regular price. It was even cheaper in the summer at 114.99 regular price and I bought it then and PM'd at Lowe's.
