Actually these 10" diameter blades would more likely be used with a mitre saw or table saw, in spite of appearing in Amazon's "Circular saws" category. Handheld circular saws typically use a blade size of 7 1/4" or smaller.

It is handy to have different blade types for different jobs, even if you don't use them enough to wear them out. Most saws come with a ripping blade best for quickly cutting through lumber, but a blade with more and finer teeth will do a cleaner job of cutting something like plywood without splintering one surface of the edge of the cut.

Lol... well It's a good thing I also have a table and mitre saw.. Boy, that would have been stupid if I actually didnt have all these saws!

Jumped on this last nite. Despite already having untouched Diablo and 3-pack Hitachi saw blade blade set. $15 is hard to pass up.
