Have one. It's a great tool, I seem to find endless uses for. Highly recommended.

Wait for this cordless one with brushless motor and variable speed control to go on sale and use with a 5.0AH battery. You're set, and won't look back.

If you have a full out long Reno job then you should be using corded tools. For everything else use cordless for convenience

Keeping a battery charged for occasional use isn't very convenient. At $85 difference (based on reg price of the kit), a cord shouldn't be a big deal for most homeowner users. To each their own.

Yes, just wait for the Mastercrap corded one. It does everything a name brand version will do. An oscillating tool is a good thing to have around for quick jobs where you can grab it, plug it in, engage safety squints and zip through something. I got a lot of use out of it for trimming door trim and jambs while doing flooring, cleaning up the siding after cutting a hole through the wall for a new dryer vent, cutting off mangled nails and fasteners, etc.

If you find a lot of use for this type of tool and want to upgrade later on, check out the Fein MultiMaster.

nice tool, very handy
I'm waiting for cordless one to go on sale. I have the battery already and some other dewalt tools, so it makes sense. The one with kit is $237 at Amazon
The cordless mastercraft at CT is on sale as well for $60

I'm with you. I was close to buying the corded one for 99 but for convenience I'm going to hold out for the cordless one to come on sale
