I loved D&D when i was a kid
It took much more imagination and was far more social than what we have today

I'd be interested, have played other RPGs before. DM me, we could make this work!

I'm haven't been a player for 25 years, but many Game Cafes and Comic Book stores have special nights to play in store. That's probably the best way to find a crew for a campaign.

Yup - this is a great place to start or tip your toes in the water.

Almost everyone I know that does pen and papers does it in board game cafes.

When I was 8, I picked up nearly brand new copies of the Players Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, and Monster Manual for I think $2 each at a local book store sale. I've been wanting to play DnD ever since.

I'm 22 now, read through those books numerous times, but still havent found anyone to play DND with xD

Go to meetup and find a group. I am sure there's one local to your area in Meetup.

5th edition is quite streamlined and enjoyable to play, especially if one is used to pathfinder, 3.5 or earlier editions.

There are also a few places you can watch people play like penny arcade's acquisitions Inc or critical role.

My fighter rolls a 0 on a d20 and impales himself with his own sword. Oh the fun times. (yes, I know the rules have changed since)

These are high-quality books that don't go on sale much.
Really wish they'd put out an official PDF I could buy, though.

Yeah that’s another area where Pathfinder is more popular.
