Pretty much - the 81 also has a slightly larger aluminium table. I removed the legs from mine and built it into my workbench.
I think the main thing these tables are for the throat plate and you just make your own table and use the parts from the table.

Unless its for someone who just wants a table, then again if one cant build a router table then what is one using a router for?!

The Mastercraft Maximum one goes as low as 99-129 once a month or so with both a fixed base and a plunge base. I'm sure it is not the top quality, but it is substantially cheaper than anything else. If you are just a diy-er, who will use it <a dozen times a year, it's hard value to beat.
It will be $99 this Friday. Got the flyer today.

The current price is 179. 30OFF code works.

It says "shipped" with a date of May 24th? That's weird. I haven't got the shipping notice yet because I cancelled my $179-$30 order and re-ordered it @$149-$30 on Monday. Status is still "Ordered" with estimated "Arriving 6 December".

Your right. I planned to build my own and actively looking at the price for parts: Table Inserts, Feather boards, T-track, Fence, etc. until I saw this table. All the parts you need may cost more than this package. I'll try this out for sure. If not working out great, I'll make a suitable table or just mount it on my bench and use all the parts in this package. The person who bought this table should already have the knowledge of building one.

Got my table yesterday and assembled today. For those of you with the Mastercraft router, the holes in the diagram labelled 'D' and the black screws are the one that worked to attach the fixed base to the table plate. The through table height adjustment doesn't line up, but it does get the height adjustment on the base pointing to the front of the table, so pretty easy to open the door and turn the knob.

Oh, and I am able to slide the router out of the base with the plate still installed, so don't need to remove the whole thing to get the router out if switching to the plunge base.
