Nice deal. Was looking seriously at it to replace my nearly 3 year old OnePlus One but the Asus Zenphone 3 doesn't come with NFC which is critical now that Google has Android Pay in Canada. Otherwise this phone would've worked for me.

Will this phone work in Europe?
How close is the Android version to stock Google?

Thanks

dont buy this phone, i have the zenfone 2, and they released an update that messed up the swipe and touch features on my phone. I can't type or swipe properly. looking on google
asus zenfone 3's have the same issues.

I will never buy another asus phone.

The phone is glass front and back. I doubt it. Gets dirty.

I had ordered tempered glass protectors but read that they dont work with the curved edges of the phone and cancelled as no one seems to make a proper glass protector.

Edit. Noticed OPs post links a white model. Black is also available.

Thanks OP! Good enough price to not pass up. Ordered it for my mom as an upgrade to her current phone.

Yes it is. It's not perfect but it's a very good mid-range phone that looks higher end.

We got the 32-Gbyte model a few months ago, and updated it right away to Android 7. That worked fine - there's some Asus junk, but nothing that gets in the way too much.

It does offer "dual SIM", but it's a bit restrictive: one micro-size and one nano-size, the micro slot is shared as the microSD slot, and they're in an awkward pop-out carrier that needs a special Asus tool to pop it out. Don't throw out the packaging too quick - it's a small metal disc with pin stuck into the cardboard, looks like a decoration.

The 32-Gbyte model has a slightly different chipset, so I can't comment on the performance compared to the 64 Gbyte model.

Never buy an Asus. I have owned two phones, a tablet and a monitor. Repeat: never again.

ASUS phones with Snapdragons work just fine... unless you bought the Laser, which had 911 issues (have they been solved?) but OP5 also has the same issues. :p I have this phone and I love it. I kinda miss the wireless performance from my old phone but the 625 runs cool and performs like a flagship in most games. It's wifi isn't the best but it's just fine for every day use. I love love love that ASUS let us use an SD card even though the phone has 64 gigs of fast storage. I stuck a 64gb card in just because. You need to buy a case with this phone because the back is slipperier than an iPhone's. Trust me. Buy a case with this one.

My only issue is that CF.Lumen has flickering issues because I'm not root. :( I can't root because then some of my apps won't work.
