From what i can see you can only shoot someone from the front? The sensor is only on the front of the vest? If thats the case it wouldnt be that fun

Look em in the eyes, not ambush them from behind. Or if you're a backstabber, have on of your victims/friends wear one in front and one in back. In for one.

I have been eyeing this for a while (when I noticed this price last summer), then discovered there are few other options that might be more attractive.

Laser-X (2 for $25 and 4 for $50 in store)

The Nerf Laser ops (was as low as $13 for the blaster and $16 for the handgun during the holiday season), ended up going with that (set of 4) because of the smart capabilities and augmented reality gaming options.

How’s handgun? Review said it’s loud so didn’t get that although price looks attractive.

Also thought Nerf laser would be better.

The blasters (delta burst) are the loud ones (because of the plastic mechanism for burst mode, stupid design decision, it has no functional purpose beside the noise), the handguns (alpha points) are fine. Our set of 4 (two of each) worked together nicely even without any linking with smart phones. Can't comment about accuracy relative to the one in the OP, but non of these guns are using laser anyway, just IR. On the nerf there is no extra sensors, and emitter and receiver are under the same plastic dome (so harder to cheat).
