[Amazon Canada] Ingersoll Rand (2235TIMAX) 1/2" Drive Air Impact Wrench, $257.71 - Lowest ever

Finally a good deal after the "Instant Pot Weekend"..... Time to bust some nuts. Lowest price ever for this air impact. Make sure to use properly sized air fittings and hose.

This is about the best 1/2 inch impact gun on the market, the fact that it is titanium makes it SO much lighter than anything else. Working on cars with this is so much easier on the hands, I used my Dad's constantly. Thanks to OP I have my own on the way.

1/2" hose (?) and which fittings do you recommend???

Thank you for any help/advice.

Min. 3/8" hose according to Ingersoll Rand web site. Typically that is enough for a 1/2" impact. Maybe 1/2" for longer runs?

I like to use the Milton V-style fittings. Your existing air fittings will fit in these, so you only have to upgrade your compressor and hoses. And they are reasonably priced (on sale last week at Princess). They are a bit more fragile because of the large opening, but if you take care of your tools there is no problem.

I take it this is a bit overkill for the twice a year wheel changes. But damn, that BVOOT BVOOT sound will put my neighbors on notice every time I make a pit stop from costco runs.

I don't know if all said and done it works out much better, but amazon.com has it for $159.99usd ($195.49usd all in to my BC address). This directly converts to approximately $250cdn, but factor in the credit card exchange rate, the 2.5% credit card exchange fee and missing out on ebates (only 1% for tools). Is there a way to use ebates.ca on amazon.com? Possible warranty issues as well with buying from another country perhaps.

EDIT: if the below link is accurate, the total should be only $255.50cdn but that seems too low I would think...?

I use ebates.com on amazon.com and other US sites.
Does it require a US mailing address for your rebate cheque to be sent to?

Thanks. It looks though like there is 0% cashback for tools on amazon.com right now :(

Pleasantly surprised, but the above calculator was dead-on, to the penny. Might even see a bit of a refund if the duties/import fees are less than I was charged.
