I got one of these at christmas and have used it 2 times. A chicken taco filling, and some roast beef.

Both were overwhelmingly less than adequate. It may be because I still don't know how to use it well.

You can Price match this at Best Buy and they will knock off another 10%, I know because I did this around the holidays when this same deal appeared on amazon.

We've been using ours as an overpriced rice cooker and can I just say Jasmine rice cooked in the IP is amazing? I'm fat because of it.

It comes out like Sushi rice, very soft and full bodied

Is there any difference as to getting this one vs the Duo one? Is this version better?

I guess you got lucky

Just looked up their Price Beat Policy

Who doesn't qualify as a retailer or authorized dealer?
The following types of sellers do not qualify for a price beat:

Marketplace sellers on websites such as Amazon.ca or resellers such as eBay.ca

I believe they're redefining to third-party sellers on Amazon not items sold directly from Amazon. Even best buy website have third-party sellers on their website.

Best Buy price matches work on purchases on Amazon which are shipped and sold by Amazon.ca. The keyword in their policy is marketplace sellers.

Had price matched a bunch of stuff on best buy to Amazon before Grinning Face

I do. Pressure cookers make great roasts out of cheap cuts of meat, you just have to figure out timing. I've found 90-100minutes with some broth, onions, and carrots is good for a small roast from fridge temperature.

EDIT - yes, technically if made in the pressure cooker, it is not "roast" beef...

Just showed it to my wife, and she said she saw the lower price before like $78?! Really?
