Just a reminder to folks that this item only comes with a 30 day warranty. Since most folks wouldn't even open the box till July, they'd be long out of warranty if there are any defects. Might be worth blowing it up and leaving it overnight to make sure it retains air.
Is that confirmed or just an amazon typo?

Deal directly with the manufacturer and you won't need to worry about the amazon note. Just say you got it as a xmas gift.

Hmm. I'd bet amazon would exchange it without question TBH.

It won’t be easy, it’s not like their light stuff that generates a free return shipping label. Exchanging it after 30d requires you bypass their return policy AND ask them to pay for both return and replacement shipping on a heavy item.

I've returned giant stuff with them before with no hassles.

Either way this is the cost of a couple of rentals so it's worth it!

Totally agree because I have it!

It was on RFD when I bought at $101, $77 is now the lowest.

Their current holiday return policy is valid through Jan 2018, just be sure to check it out by then.
If it's for Xmas, you're covered if it stays unopened until then and you only find out it's defective in Jan.

Got mine today. Will open it up and test it sometime this week or during the weekend.
It is has some weight to it. Hopefully it's the actual stuff that's heavy not just box and fillings.

Out of curiosity, is this something you can take portaging instead of a canoe?

You wouldn't want to crash through the bush with it. After all, it is inflatable. It's easy enough to carry, but you wouldn't want to fill it with gear and carry it.

True. Not sure how durable these are. Thought it might be a good cheap and light alternative to renting a canoe.

damn, price went back up. Anyone know if there's any other deal out there for a two person kayak in this price range?
