Canada, Eh!!

[Amazon Canada] KingDian SSD $5 coupon AMZN

Searched and did not see this posted.

Amazon.ca has the 120gb and 240gb SSDs with $5 coupon.

120gb $26.99-5.00=$21.99

240gb $39.99-5.00= $34.99

Not the best SSDs but IMHO competitive with the Kingston and Crucial BX500

Why would you buy a no-name brand 240 GB with horrible performance, when you can get a 256 GB Silicon Power for $5 more with twice the performance...
Why would anyone buy this?

Silicon Power 256GB-SSD
$39.99

There's also the S400, 480GB. $69 - $5.

Again... why would you buy this Chinese KingDan garbage when SK Hynix has an identical 480gb drive for the same $69.99 price at twice the performance?

Better yet... spend $5 extra for $74.99 and get substantially more space and better performance

Those who buy this will come to realize that some things you should not buy cheap Chinese no name. Get a real ssd by a reputable brand unless your data, time, and money mean nothing.

I've got KingDians running in my unRAID cache array. They are rock solid in a use case that is way more intensive that most home use cases.

Only an absolute moron fear mongers about cheap Chinese SSDs. SSDs are without question the least failure prone component in any modern computer and every SSD regardless of brand is made in China and being cheap is kinda the point of this whole site. KingDian is a well established brand in China and has tons of excellent reviews (1500+ for some models) across Amazon/Aliexpress.

EDIT: I grabbed mine for more than this from Aliexpress. It's a great deal. The drives use silicone motion controllers and have DDR3 cache.

Thanks OP, ordered ! Worth noting that there was also no tax for me (and free shipping) so it was 34.99 all in (like paying $31+tax for another brand)
