Same here, I've read those are really great clip-ons. Can't wait for those. But let's be real, those aren't Beats. I gots to have my Beats when I'm composing my rhymes and dropping some knowledge on those sucka MC's.

ok, ok, in babouche's defence, both Koss's in this thread are beyond ugly (though ugliness is in the eye of the beholder, usually...), but they sound VERY good for the price you pay. I'd say the Porta Pro's look kewl, and were on my to-get list, along with the Grado's SR-60i (for which one may say they won't win any beauty contests too (I find them beautiful though)). Sadly, Grado's were not on discount over the Boxing Day, although CanadaComputers had them for ~60$ during Black Friday sale... If anyone knows a good deal on them, I'd appreciate the tip...

I remember when it was normal to see porta pro's for 60-80 dollars, they sound great for the cost however I kept blowing them out.
I can understand where babdouche is coming from though. If you want to pull a girl in high school you better have your cool beats by dre headphones on to match your girlfriend skinny jeans.

Maybe I should buy a cheap pair of replica Beats online from China and fit some Koss KSC35 or KSC75 drivers in them. I'd get decent sound plus I'd look really cool and saved a bunch of money in the process.

LOL
You'd get douche-cred but no respect from audio enthusiasts. I'll be wearing my KSC75's au naturel.

I'm more of an IEM guy.. I do use the KSC75's at home though.. Have had them for a couple years and didn't really give them much of a chance but dug them out lately and I'm really enjoying them.
Anyway hopefully this thread can get back on topic and discussing the headphones in the OP. Sorry OP.

by the way I know this is not a on ear/over the ear but earbuds, but I went to Futureshop today and saw the SOL republic Amps HD on sale from 99.99 down to 49.99$, amps regular were discounted from 49.99$ to 29.99$
they sound pretty good(better than the porta) and look a lot better
BTW SOL's CEO is Noel Lee's son (Noel Lee is Monster's CEO)
you can read a detailed review here:

No one is going to take your opinion of the sound quality of headphones due to your past comments. So basically you went from Beats by Dre to posting a headphone link for a company 50 Cent endorsed at one point.
