Already have a Beta SL and Beta AR I wear all the time but... Couldn't resist a medium one of these at $78 anyway.

My wife took my precip but I never really liked it anyway it feels like wearing a tarp.
LOL damn, hella overlap. But I guess the minimalist does suit the city better. The Beta AR arms are giant compared to it, but it's my ski jacket so it's fine.

Picked up the $40 precip for my mom tho. Can't go wrong with that.

Beta SL definitely is my go to everyday rain jacket around town. I plan on using this Marmot for cases where I don't want to worry so much about it, like if there is some chance I'll be falling down drunk I'd rather rip the $78 marmot. :)

Got the XL Black in the mail today.

Fits good with these specs:

6'4"
220 LBS
44L jacket
38 waist

Material, fit finish, etc seem good to me.
2013 Wins - $1320 - Woohoo!

Beta SL no pit zips, can't stand wearing it doing any slightly strenuous activity.

That's why it's an every day rain jacket for me, walking the kids to school and stuff doesn't need pit zips.

Anyway, got the Minimalist already and I have to say it is quite nice of a jacket even at the current prices it's a great deal. I got the green in medium (~$78), I don't give a damn about the colour of my gear but I think it's pretty nice looking in person.

Gear deals like this are much rarer now that Live Out There is in the state it's in these days.

The AR jackets with Goretex Pro are too crunchy for day-to-day use. I can't be stealthy with the swishing and crackling noise.

You gotta change your mindset. They crackling sounds is you absolutely flexing on everyone around you and their non crackling pleb jackets Face With Tears Of Joy

Shows as $104 for me or else I'd be snagging a Medium.

Screw it - ordered
My Columbia gets too hot with that reflective tinfoil stuff inside, this should be more practical.

Received my Jet Black - X-Large - $81.07 today. This counts as one of my best RFD deals!
A high quality Gore-Tex jacket with Pit Zips for $81? Crazy!
I own a PreCip jacket but really wanted this one.
I like the large hand pockets that have both Zippers and a Velcro patch and nice brim stiffener, Just feels well made overall.

Thanks!

Looks like the black is showing up at $200 now and the green for $100, anyone else still seeing the sale price?
