Not able to use the wireless remote to open the garage now, but still able to close. Anyone know why?
I'm having the same issue.

Using the right terminals? Sounds like it's in vacation mode, ie; won't open but will close.

Yes, add Smart Meross skill. Say "Alexa, ask Smart Meross to open/close garage door (or whatever name you gave it)".
Did that and Alexa thinks it’s a lock and won’t work for me. Removed and re added a couple of times to the same result.

Using "Smart Meross" and not "Meross" skill? (there are 2)

These are my settings, and they are by default, I didn't change anything:

So on my Echo in my living room by the garage door, I need to say "Alexa, Ask Smart Meross...".

On my phone, I open the Alexa app, press the blue circle and say "Ask Smart Meross...", which is kind of redundant because it's 2 clicks to open the Meross app and tap the icon anyway... unless I've set a routine and it does multiple things before I enter the house, still playing with that. What's cool is cars are starting to come out with Alexa built-in, just like carplay and android.

It seem very similar to gogogate that I been using for years. I have 16 years old opener and installed gogogate when it first come out. Really happy with it.

It is more expensive, but 1 gogogate can control up to 3 garage doors.

Thanks for the info I have other Meross smart plugs so already had the Meross skill installed. Hopefully they update the skill to be easier so you can just say Alexa open garage door

Hopefully. In the meantime, can you use both skills?

I saw the code on a youtube video description rather than a website
That promo code on the youtube site doesn't seem to work. I've entered it on the gift card/promo code section on amazon. Can someone PM me a code 40% off please? Thanks

Yes I've used post 71. It's good till tomorrow but it says invalid when entered. Anyone else have the same problem? the one that ends VHS.
Seems like the amazon link is dead, even from Meross's website. Have to use a search on Amazon and code not excepted but the $10 coupon is good.

I made my own with:
- ESP8266 $3
- Door contact switch $2
- 3V relay $1
- Small USB Power Supply that we all have a bunch that are useless for anything else $FREE

It takes only some really basic electronics + programming skills.

This looks to be the exact same thing, so it's definitely not worth $95 MSRP
It should be priced at about $20-$40 just like other wifi switches, and with proper certifications.

I did the same. Used a Sonoff SV which includes a relay. I also wrote a SmartThings DTH specifically for any Tasmota flashed ESP8266. If anyone is interested, just PM me for it. Requires basic soldering skills.

Aren't these made with cheap 2 dollar sonoff with the added sensors? At this price better go with MyQ where you can see something for the money spent.

Is anyone able to use this with their vehicle homelink system? All other remotes work except that one.

I will like to know that as well, everything else pairs easily except my homelink rear view mirror.
