[Amazon Canada] Microsoft Surface pen (burgundy) + Surface USB Ethernet = $98.62+taxes (additional 8% ebates)

I've been looking for a surface pen since getting the $800 SP5 + keyboard deal a month ago.

With the "$40 off 2 Surface accessories" promo, the pen (burgundy only) with USB ethernet adaptor is cheaper than buying the pen alone.

Pen $106.63

Ethernet adaptor $31.99

That's not true. Any product that has the, "Save $40.00 on every 2 Microsoft Surface Accessories you purchase offered by Amazon.ca." promotion on the product page will work. For instance, I added that ethernet adapter, as well as the USB-C to HDMI adapter to cart, and they are $46.98 together before taxes.
But thank you for the post.

I thought he/she specifically wanted the pen and couldn't get the deal mentioned in the post.

Just wondering, what was the config on the surface for this deal?

Regretting not looking for a surface during christmas, that keyboard would have been nice. :(

Now i'm contemplating a refurbished one for $850 but with 256gb.

You can consider buying some Wacom Bamboo Ink pen. They works for Surface Pro 3+ and is available at around $50 CAD all in at eBay. Plus it has two buttons instead of one. With the blue Tooth button still map-able too, also come with extra tips instead of being a separate purchase. I think it is overall a better buy.

According to testing in this video, the Bamboo Ink is very jittery for drawing...

Only noticeable if you draw as slow as he is.

Me 2... I found out about this deal day AFTER the deal went live, but the main stock was gone. Apparently more trickled in, but they were total luck/draw.

For 500$ I got a refurb 12.5" Acer Switch - i5-6200u/8gb/128ssd, 1440p-2:3 screen. But battery life is sub par for this class... Which is really disappointing seeing as it's fanless. From my window shopping, anything cheaper & I'd lose the performance, backlit keyboard &/or fanless design.

It would have been a big increase in $$, but for $1050, Microsoft laptop 2 was of great interest.

So was the surface Go 8gb/128gb+keyboard @ $729... If it were a bit deeper sale price, or if its Pentium-4415y was faster, I would have went that route. But other than the size advantage and better battery, the Go was more $ for less, & getting too close to the $ of the laptop 2!

Both sales are over now so the point is moot...

--------

$850 for a refurb surface 5 with 256gb? Where is that being offered? But the keyboard is NOT included eh?

Anyone aware of any other comprable devices? (Fanless/tablet or 2in1/backlit keyboard/above average battery) I still have 9 days return policy left! -6th gen Intel is as low as I'll go.

Any ideas anyone?
