My 2 orders were cancelled as well and I see that they added a $10 credit to my account today. Was really looking forward to the sets...
Same here. Amazon cancelled my order saying Price was incorrect. Added $10 to my account as well.

I wonder if there's anyway to convince Amazon to honour the price rather than accepting the credit.

$10 credit here also. What can I say, except "I love you RFD"? I didn't even need it, just jumped on the bandwagon.

They arent even selling the item anymore so I doubt you could.

I find it a bit hard to swallow amazon's explanation of an "incorrect price"
Really - it took them 9 days and hundreds if not thousands of orders to figure this out.
Not only that, the price changed a few times by a few pennies during that period.

BTW - does anyone remember a similar set on sale at Canadian Tire a while back that not only included 8 place settings but also a few serving dishes.
Price was also around $50 or $60.

What number did you call?
And how do you get the $50.- credit? Just whine how you were looking forward to get this set....

Called 1 877 586 3230. Was able to get an additional $15 on top of the $10.

Got $10 credit, too lazy to call to harass a customer service rep for more money.

Yup, the $10 is fine. Would rather save a call for when it really matters.
