Anyone feel like these are factory seconds.

The back edge of mine is uneven with discoloured bumps all along it’s length.

That is normal for Mora's. Nothing to be concerned with.

Maybe I was lucky but my six other Mora’s aren’t as bad as this.

I am used to having to grind them flat for efficient sparking ability but this is something that looks like the metal was not fired right.

Granted it’s a $10 knife marked down from $20’ish but I have never seen any of my other $20 price point Mora’s look like this.

Won’t return it regardless as it’s always good to have a “beater” in the tool box.

I will try and post a picture.

The few I ordered are all like this. Nothing to be worried about.

This is not a "pretty" knife for collectors, it's a hard use knife for woodsman, tradespeople etc.

It's under $15, has great blade steel, holds an edge, comfy handle, and cuts like a laser. Not sure what else you wanted or expected.

Got a blue one a few years back for camping. Good for making feather sticks. About time for a sharpen tho.

mine arrived last week. yes the spine is unevenly finished on my as well but for $11, I'll call it a fair compromise. that said, my Mora came sharp as heck & there's nothing more to be said except that it's a decent knife to throw in the bug out bag & not have a fit if I lost it.

I think I was pretty clear in my last post that I was satisfied given it was a cheap knife and beater for my toolbox and wouldn’t be returning it regardless.

Not of my other Mora’s are like that. What I wanted or expected was my original question, did anyone else’s look like that.

As I said I must have been lucky to date.
Here are half a dozen other sub $20 Mora’s I own that are stock as they arrived.
Only the bottom one is stainless the rest are different models and thicknesses but all are carbon.

Not yellow but more like green. Ugly imo.
might be ugly, but when youre in the bush and you drop or misplace your knife, its gonna be that much easier to find with it being this colour. Personally i love the neon colours for that very reason.

How easy is this to use for someone who's never used a sharpener
very easy. hold the blade vertical @90 degrees (ie. as vertical as possible) & run the whole length of blade through the ceramic rods. IMO this system is good for maintenance rather than resharpening a really dull or damaged blade.
