Picked one up as well. Don't really have a need for one right now though....

Been waiting to buy one since my android boxes suck. I guess this is a good chance to use my $10 amazon coupon, so in for one.

Sorry for that Noob question about the gaming on this device, but I never used this before ...

- Can I use the XBOX-360 controller that came with my XBOX 360 console ?
I got at least 5 360 controllers that I don't use anymore (the kids now uses the XBOX-one).

- What games are good to play on this NVdia-Shield-Tv device?
Are those games free?
Are those game from the Google-Play-Store?
Is it simply Android game that you would play on a tablet, but instead on the TV with the paired controller?

I almost pull the trigger on the shield combo (with the controller) ...
But if this can be used with original 360's controllers ... then the price is getting really low.

(and I could replace one of my chineese android tv box ...)

It makes me breakfast in bed and scratches my a55 on demand...duh :p

I don't know anyone who still uses Kodi, the Brits ruined it for everyone. This can be used for IPTV service, terrarium, plex, YouTube, Netflix, and even gaming.

Does anyone on RFD have access to Google??

This is a great deal on a great device. There’s tons of information not only here but on a thing called the interweb.
Do your part and do some research. Think for yourself. Learn.
I know it’s easier to just ask, but it will not help you in the long run.

Thanks OP

Is Plex better than Kodi to stream content on a local network? I remember Plex adjusting video quality based on the bandwidth on the network, wasn't a fan of that.

Also, everything you listed is also possible on the Mi box. Hence the question.

The Shield runs everything better/faster and has much better support/updates. The Mi box won't do the gaming either.
