Too sweet for me. Would rather do myprotein unflavoured and flavoured combo for about the same price with discount code. Myprotein's shipping is extra though.

edit: Damn it looked good but I canceled my order after reading the reviews. I'll stick with kaizen isolate and combat powder when there's a sale at Costco.

Please everybody, don't buy this. ON Gold Standard is great and all, but this is absolutely garbage. Just look at the nutritional profile.
ON is just using their brand name to sell this, and its an absolute waste of money.

Yeah, it's 22g of protein per 39g, and 50 servings per container. Expensive, buy myprotein or canadianprotein instead.

Yeah no point to even mention these any more. ON was top when CP and myprotein didn't exist. Just buy salted carmel flavour at myprotein.

Cheap protein is spiked. ON Gold Standard is still that, the Gold Standard.

The raw materials it takes to make quality protein powder is expensive, so the final price of quality protein powder is going to be expensive. If it's cheap, it's likely too good to be true unless there's a crazy sale going on.

When you buy cheap protein, you'll need a double serving to actually obtain the amount of protein the label claims is in one serving. So really, you don't save any money.

Search bodybuilding.com forum or google for other reputable protein brands.

Lol myprotein has one of the highest quality ratings in independent tests, even higher than ON:

MyProtein Iso 97 is also over $40/kg CAD regularly, which is on the expensive side. So if it is indeed a high quality protein, the price fits.

The goal for ON Gold is to buy at something around $27/kg CAD, shipping/taxes included.

I should have clarified: I'm just warning consumers that if protein is really cheap, there's a reason, and you should research which brands are tested and reputable.

I just bought the ON Gold Standard at US Costco. Great price, taste and protein. Don't know about this one.
