When given enough time, all threads on RFD can and will go off on a tangent.

Blue is the only one with 11$ coupon.
The 'surface plate' seems to be bad according to the 2 reviews it has, along with all the complaints from other review as well about the roll...
Having said that, the price is good so I'll order it.

PETG has other color options!

Not sure about this brand of filament. Never tried... I'm just as skeptical as you are! $12 for a spool is a steal though!

I've never used the surface plate that comes with these I always throw them away but I have bought 2 spools of the blue previously and had no issues with the PLA

Thanks OP, was eyeing the black PETG for some time. 2.85mm PETG is $6 in some colours.

Do you know how it attaches to the surface? glue/sticky pad?

No sorry. I just chucked them with everything else in the box, I have a glass bed so I couldn't foresee any reason why I would want to use it
Also the pad was smaller than the print surface on my ender3

Hi, looking at this unboxing at 1:50, we can see 3M sheet on the back.
