[Amazon.ca] Philips OneBlade ($32.97) & OneBlade Pro ($62.97)

I wanted an inexpensive electric shaver I could use in the shower and decided on the OneBlade. Was about to get it from a different retailer but noticed these two versions are on sale at Amazon. The OneBlade is $32.97 (reg $44.99) and OneBlade Pro is $62.97 (reg $79.99).

I decided on the Pro - the Li-Ion battery was a plus for me and I have a moustache so the longer, adjustable comb is nice

Replacement blades are $33 for two and they suggest changing them every 4 months.

How are these compared to foil shavers and rotary shavers?

I have this and the top of the line braun 9 series, and a panasonic arc 5. this is way better closer, faster and no pain shave. BUT, it's super fragile (built like that on purpose to sell more).

+1 for the oneblade, this is great for that smooth shaves almost anywhere ;-) without worrying about razor cuts. Works great , I recommend.

Awesome, I've been waiting for the pro to go on sale. I've had the regular one for a while and it's amazing. The adjustable trimming comb on the pro look much better than the 3 individually sized combs on the regular model.

Which one do you have? I believe the standard version has been this price before (Amazon, Best Buy, etc), but I think this is the lowest I've seen the Pro priced.

The images show the guy basically getting a shave length similar to a razor blade. I am currently using a "beard" trimmer and it really doesn't get all that close, stubble really. I may be starting a job where ill need to shave clean each morning... am I really going to get that close of a shave with this like the picture seems to show? I have super sensitive skin especially on my neck and get bad razor burn when using a traditional razor (able to mitigate it with zinc block but still bad). That Costco version is very enticing.

It shaves down to about a 5 o'clock shadow. Not razor smooth but close.

I bought the pro a couple of months ago. I was skeptical of the hype, but I have to eat crow, it's great. Sure, the shave is not baby skin close, but it's still fine to me. Heck, I only shave every two days. I had 2 electric shavers and I kicked them to the curb.

How good is this for keeping a bald head bald?

Is this as revolutionary as folks claim?

Tempted to get this but also curious how close it shaves since other electric shavers I've used got my skin baby smooth.

Also not sure if I go for the costco deal or the Pro from Amazon. The nice thing about the Pro from Amazon is that you can dial it down to 0.5mm.
