Is it required to have a disconnect box installed? If not, I think its a good ideal to have it installed , Home Depot sells then for around $20

Need a way to discount power , line of sight. Same as how your A/C is installed.

If you have plug in box then you do not need it as you can unplug the cable to cut power .

What do you guys think of this one:
At Homedepot
30 Amp Indoor Electric Vehicle Charging Station 2nd Gen - Enhanced Model $799 (But you can always get 10~15% off)

https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.30-a ... 72478.html
Rated 5 stars from 199 reviews..........review states it charges a Leaf at 35% per hour, which is about what my Sun Country Highway commercial grade 30A EVSE does. I'd buy it, $800 is about the going rate for a 30A hardwired, can always put a pigtail and a plug on it later yourself if you'd prefer that. Don't bother getting anything that's lower amperage than 30A though (40A breaker required).

My question is how do you get 10 to 15% off???

Price for the Leviton EVR30-B18 has dropped again. It's now $693.34

In the installation manual is says that there is a possibility to add network capability (WLAN) separately.
I prefer one that comes with it. Currently Juice Box Pro 40 is front runner for me :-)

Does anyone know if it has a delay charge feature so you can charge it at off peak hours.? The one at Home Depot seems to have it.

I'm pretty sure almost every electric car has that functionality built-in. So you can leave the EVSE plugged into the car and use the car's app to schedule charging periods.

Didn't realize it but it was an option on my wife's car which she did not get. So now I have to buy a charger with delay charging

Not necessarily. I bought a '17 Leaf S which doesn't come with NissanConnect to schedule or remotely monitor the charging. So, i bought a FLO X5 instead. ($500 Nissan-Flo discount & $500 ON rebate made it $483.XX something).
