Prime day has been so sad for years now. I expect nothing from it. Does anyone else feel the same?

I think most of the individual deals will be lame. You should look for the generic deal (e.g. save 30% from Amazon Basic), those will be better fit for the customers looking for certain categories to purchase. However, generic deal normally won't show under deal store until it is time to release.

Exactly, if you like lumps of coal... get your happy dance ready!
As an aside... not sure if it was mentioned, I am sure it was, but can't go back to find it all
EBATES is 6% back today.
I like how the ECHO products went back to full price, just in time for their epic sale. They are AMAZON products, these are the items that should be discounted more for a 1.5 day sale. Like $30 for the echo dot, etc... watch the sale soar.

Not your fault, that they only added that 3pm banner recently. Not a good start Amazon...hartzfizzo wrote: ↑ Why am i staying up for this? In 1 hour i will be filled with disappointment and my cart will have maybe some aa batteries to justify my wasted time.

I bought 2 for $99 before a long road trip to keep my little one (and whoever wasn't driving at the time) occupied, and don't regret it. I've seen them get as low as $69.99, well worth the price. Might pick up a few as super-early Christmas presents if they go that low.

Thoughts on the Kindle Paperwhite?
I saw it will be $40 off in the US...I would expect a discount in Canada as well.
How well is this for an e-reader?
