[Amazon.ca] Prime Day: Coway AP-1512HH Mighty Air Purifier with True HEPA and Eco Mode, Black $225 & FILTERS 20% off

This is an excellent air purifier and it looks very fancy up close.
I bought 2 years ago at $200 but at $225 it's still a very good price. I had mine on auto mode 24/24

The filter that rarely goes on sales is also at 20% off for prime members.

I've had mine for a year now, running 24/7. Seriously recommend it.

How does this compare to the LEVOIT PUR131 I just bought yesterday for $139.99?

Should I return it? I need this for our apartment livi g room, about 250-300 sq ft.

If you're against Ozone emission, then the Levoit is ozone free, from what I've read the Coway does have trace amounts of ozone due to the ionizer.

Personally, my main concerns in an air purifier is:
1) ozone
2) does it use HEPA filters?
3) cost of replacement filters
4) energy consumption

I didn't even think about ozone... thanks for the tip. I was looking into buying the Coway, but may pick up the Levoit instead.

Hi- would like to use this overnight, while sleeping.
In a top floor of a home, 650 sq ft-
if I keep the room doors open, and place it in a central space
would it be effective

thanks in advance

Hmm, now this makes it hard to decide.
I was about to pull the trigger on Honeywell HPA300C before I saw this.

You can shut the ionizer off.

Great air cleaner, love the fact it monitors the air quality and turns itself up when needed.

Has anyone used the 3rd party filters? Any comments? Looking for replacement filters, wondering what the quality of the 3rd party ones are like.
