FYI, if you're looking to watch Amazon Prime Video content on your TV, Amazon recently allowed people with the Prime Video app on their phones to cast shows on their Google Chromecast. This might be useful if you already have this device.

You can also always cast prime video from you PC via chrome to your Chromecast device.

Is the 4K worth buying over the standard even if your TV is not 4K? Seems as though the performance might be better but wondering if any RFDers have noticed this in actual usage.

It's faster and has Atmos support, if you're tight on funds, then get the regular one and then upgrade it when you eventually get a 4k or whatever TV.

I have both. 4K is definitely faster and worth the difference in price.

If you really want to save, the non-4K also does the job nicely. I got them only for the ability of screen-mirroring (that 4K version does not support)

It is since its way faster than the non 4k one and you will be future proof!

I have the regular and the 4k, and don't see a huge difference other than the 4k seems slightly faster navigating. But I also have it wired vs Wi-Fi on the other stick

Anyone in Canada able to watch the Prime Day Concert with their FireTV? I didn't see it listed, rarely use it.
Possibly it's due to my FireTV being purchased from the USA many years ago
