What killed it for me is the reveiwer that stated "The smoker is single wall constructruction, so the wind affects it significantly. If it is cool out, and windy it is hard to keep the temperature steady. I solved this problem by buiding a shed onto the side of my shop". Thanked for giving credit where its due.

This killed it for me:

First of all use a lighter to start the smoker. If you use the igniter provided you will blow yourself up.

This is true for any gas range.

Decent deal, thanks OP.

I've been looking at these the last day or two and came across one that's on sale at Cabelas for $199.99. It's only 30" tall so if you're a caterer or food truck, you probably want the extra capacity of the 48" at Amazon. Otherwise, you might like saving $70.

I am looking for an electric I think. Easier to use and less babysitting I think.

This one is interesting.

I have a propane one I bought from rcss last year still haven't opened it. If anyone is interested, I'd sell for $100 if anyone wants it.

Pm me if anyone's interested and I'll get the specs on it.

I read your comment and reply with this.

Get the smaller one for cheaper. Great quality, and set up properly, requires little work. Use mine often and love it.

Propane and charcoal are most likely used by hunters and cottage guys.
