3rd picture down shows how good the small umbrella is... it blocks sideways rain from getting any part of your body wet.

The reviews are fake though. Fakespot gives it an ‘F.’ https://www.fakespot.com/product/repel- ... ella-black

F on fakespot.

Is $25 actually considered a "deal" for a compact umbrella?

This was once on elite deals club. I got mine for $1 or something like that. It's a pretty good umbrella. It feels pretty nice and the button on the base opens and collapses the umbrella for you. Definitely much better feeling than a generic umbrella.

I bought this on a whim during a lightning deal with a few minutes left for $18 back in December. It's an okay umbrella - smaller and heavier than some of the other auto-open/close ones I've had in the past, but it still feels quite sturdy. I would've preferred a longer barrel.

Non-crappy umbrellas are pricey nowadays so anything that's around $20 with a "lifetime replacement guarantee" is a solid deal IMO.

The AmazonBasics umbrella WITH wind vent is a much better buy. It's currently unavailable, but will likely re-stock. I've bought several for family and friends for around $17 each.

I'm torn here... fakespot gives it an F and wirecutter calls it the best umbrella... so what to do?

Wirecutters gets a cut from the sale and they were called out for it because someone refused to pay.

How does the lifetime warranty work?
Do you pay for your own shipping when ship to them which is around $15?

I hate this kind of umbrella. I always accidentally press the button causing the umbrella to close when I'm walking
