Got my package from Lowes today.
The security seals on the boxes were cut on both the Hub and the sensor I bought (2 separate packages).
Factory resetted and works fine, but wondering if I should raise a stink. The peel off plastic on the hub had scuff marks.
My hub came with 4 seals intact but my sensors all had the original seals cut and a smaller replacement seal placed over the original. It too was a little scuffed up. Wonder if they were opened by Samsung to put in Canadian documentation ...

Looks like the sale is over. Back up to $99.99 for me.

Same deal with my hub. Also had to factory reset and it seems to be working. I'll keep it but will likely hesitate on ordering any more electronics from Lowes in the future.

I wonder if you can bring it to a store and just get it exchanged with a brand new one if that's the case.

I ordered 3 leak sensors from Lowe's because they have a banner promotion for additional discount ($5 off purchase of $70)... Hope they are new and not repackaged returns.

Yes.. I have good and bad experiences with them... literally, I have two sensors in the house and one works great and the other keeps disconnecting from ST.

Same here...they are worried about managing all of the devices.
I did however, convince them to get into the Ring ecosystem (alarm and cameras).

Did you try and break into their homes to prove your point? :)

Any idea if this version works with Wink Hub 2? I know the 1st version does but not sure about this one.
What do you mean works with the Wink Hub? You can control the Wink hub with the Smart Things hub? I would've thought that you would just use the Smartthings hub to directly control the devices instead of thru another hub.

Wink is really shitting the bed lately. This is the third outage in the past couple of months. So I'm thinking of getting this now.

Can you use OSRAM Lightify and Home Depots Ecosmart bulbs with this thing? If so what is the reliability like?

Is there local control now?
