Yes it is, minus the stock stainless steel bracelet.
Sweet. Gonna take the steel bracelet off mine too once i get it. I think the leather band makes it look 100x better.

For those of you interested in the SNK789 White version, the price has dropped from $79.17 to $66.04.

I posted the price drop on the white one last night as a PSA, but after thinking about it I realized that I didn't have a watch with a white dial and I should order one for myself. :)

The FASHION10 code didn't work for me but I chatted with a CSR and she gave me a $10 credit instead.

But the downside is $10 applied after they ship means you pay an extra $1.13 for tax.
I was given 10 $ promotional credit for future purchases because fashion10 didn't work for me . I placed a second order for the watch with the promotional credit and cancelled my first order.

Not sure if I have a dud but the 40 hours thing is a joke. I wore my SNK795 from 7 Am to 6 PM yesterday, and it had stopped at around 5 AM this morning. PITA to have to set the time again this morning. Do you really have to shake it for 30 seconds each day to 'wind' it? I thought by just wearing it for half a day it would be fully wound?

Definitely get what you pay for with Hadley Roma straps. It's "Genuine Leather" which is one of the lowest grades. I have one on my Seiko 5 and it's been over a year and hasn't held up well. One of the loops have fallen off and it has creased terribly like the cheap leather belts I get from Winners. Just an FYI.. I don't know if I would spend more $ on a higher quality strap considering how cheap Seiko 5s are

I ended up exchanging mine with Amazon because of the long scratch that came with mine.

P.S. The one I ordered was $15.11 but it's $22.34 today, which is not worth it.

Can't decide if I like the 79x series, or the 80x seiko 5s better. Which looks better with a leather strap?

Did you order the item first then contact amazon?

Yes I called and asked to apply the coupon code. But it didn't work so the customer service rep added 10 $ credit to my account .

Have you tried spinning the crown to see if the date changes?

I can change the day and number, it's just that the next day the day changes to the French day, it doesn't move to the next English day. And the date number sometimes changes too early to the next one.

Try trouble shooting with this thread.

For the date changing too early, are you sure you dont have the watch on pm when its am and vice versa?

The post by ArkJasdain explains it pretty well.
