Great! Thanks for the info. You received yours that fast? I like the metal band but I'll order a couple leather for another watch and maybe swap the metal one sometime.

Have been using this watch for three weeks. I noticed the watch is one to two minutes faster each week. Is it within tolerance? Never had a real watch before, only able to compare with my g-shock.

Thanks

I don't mind faster, since I am constant late at work :p. On the other hand, that's like 20 to 30 minutes per year.

I ended up buying the white and the blue seiko 5 + hadley roma leather bands.
I know it sounds like I spent too much on the bands compared to the super low price of the watch itself... hopefully they last.
Watch + bands are beautiful.

Thanks, I purchased it based on all the great reviews and pictures posted before on forums like watchuseek. For CA$80 (band + watch) you get a watch that looks awesome. Better even than another Seiko watch that cost me 3 times as much.
I've searched a bit and in my opinion, this is the best option under CA$500. (classic look under 38mm)

Resurrecting an old thread (still relevant, not sure why it was moved to expired, as the watch still sells for 65$ and change....) to ask the folks that gt it if the reserve gets anywhere close to the claimed 40hrs.
Mine is like 24hrs with regular wear (ie. not moving my arm like Don Quixote battling the windmills)- i'm a bit bummed...
To be or not to be...where is the question?

Which strap did you buy for the black/blue one on the right? I'm looking for that lighter colour myself, but they all look dark when I search HR on Amazon. Thanks!

I bought it in amazon.com and use their service for global delivery. No issues

Note that this one runs a bit small (good for small wrist like me). I certainly like this watch more than the white one,

Thanks, appreciate the link and the picture! I agree, definitely nicer than the white imo.

Would anyone be able to direct me to some tools to swap out the strap? I got a leather one to go on and would rather spend a buck or two for a tool than go to The Bay and get hosed for 10.

You can do with a small screwdriver (the type you would use to adjust glasses)
I bought a deployment clasp and came with the tool (the free tool is so-so made but does the job)
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00QBU3KNM/ref ... TE_3p_dp_1
I read that the deployment clasp extends the life of the strap... that convinced me to get one.
