[Amazon Canada] SMOKING Franklin 1416 Titebond III Ultimate Wood Glue, 1-Gallon, $31.95

3c shows lowest price since (but data only from Dec 2017?) Regardless this is a smoking hot deal IMO. Been waiting for this to drop but didn't expect it to go this low!

Get it whilst you can, I'm guessing dynamic pricing will kick in sooner than later...

ps, should add that it is currently not in stock with shipping in 1-2 months (but first I've seen it being out)

CCC is butt. Price has been all over the place for the past couple years and hit 31.95 a few times recently but this is still the lowest ever.

TB III has the longest open / clamp-up time of the three Titebonds, the best water resistance and most strength, but also shows gluelines the most.

Shelf life is around 2 years.

Unless you're into eating glue or own a woodworking shop this ain't smoking just water vapour at most...

Dam that's a hell of a price. I pay 18 for the small bottle.

Last time I got a gallon of something I used like 10 ml of it.

I've been waiting for more than a year for this to drop below $40 & haven't seen it do so, unless I've missed, which is possible (TBIII has been upwards of $40-45 on average). TBII, however, has dropped to $29-ish multiple times over last year.

As another poster stated, it is a lot of glue but when 500mL is $8-13, I don't mind having too much...

Great deal, but unless you're gluing a ton, 1 gallon is overkill.

I bought mine 4 years ago and I still use it. A lot of it has crusted, but it's still usable in a pinch.

How does this compare to Gorilla Glue? I think it'll take me forever to need to use this much glue...
This is better glue. And it'll take you forever of you're not woodworking. You can buy the small bottle for $20. This is a steal.

Guys...something to consider. This ships in 1-2 months. If wood glue freezes, it tends to separate while in a frozen state. Titebond states that their glue can survive "potentially" survive 5-6 freeze cycles without losing too much of its bond strength. You must let it thaw slowly and stir extensively after returns to a liquid state. For some reason titebond is always on sale during the winter seasons.

I have read that glue can be kept in a fridge to extend the life.

With this I need to buy a bottle though, which are usually $15-20 for a good one.
