The first one was awesome. I found some really awesome deals. Best one was a 128 sandisk usb 3.0 thumb drive that was like 75% off.

Last year it was disappointing but I did find a couple shirts that were 50% off and in my size so that was worth it.

For the member commenting about the hours, since it starts at 3pm I think most people who work will be okay with it...if you are EST. People in Alberta and BC are most likely going to have to check in from work to find deals.

If this year flops than I won’t plan to be available for next years prime day.

What happened to Dell's Days of Deals? Those were epic once upon a time.

All the whiners complaining about cheap chinese junk, what do they expect, LG Oleds, Macbooks for a few 100 bucks? It is the inexpensive Chinese products that keeps inflation low and allows consumers in the West to afford stuff that they generally wouldn't/couldn't b4. A few examples, the gas spring desk mounts that use to cost over $150 easily just several years back are now selling for $30ish, and dual/triple monitor HDMI USB 3.0 docks that cost half for the same capability of expensive desktop video cards. All of this becus of made in China, make that in a Western country and all of these whiners will cry over their wallets. If the product is right for u, buy or don't, these retailers are not forcing you to. Once the global trade war goes full swing, see how bad prices get here and the same people will whine quietly to themselves why these Chinese junk cost so much now . . .

with Ebay and Walmart taking advantage already before this sale, people have no more money to spend IMHO before July 16. unless the price will be a real epic, people will not bother to return what they have purchased on ebay and walmart.

I wouldn't be surprised that all the video games they still haven't made available for pre-order like Fifa 19 and NBA 2K19 will be available to Prime members. They were probably leaving their "E3 Sale" for their Prime Day.

I cannot recall a single great deal from Walmart nor eBay these weeks...

eBay's random x-off coupons are not really that great. You're just left with buy-it-now items or same day ending auctions, you're at the whims of whoever is selling items. Walmart is just acting normal... no big sales.

I wish Amazon would bring back their Prime Day discounts on warehouse deals. IIRC it was 50% off all warehouse deals the first year they did Prime Day. Some killer deals that year.

This is the only Chrome books deal from the Prime deal page, but the deal is open to everyone. You don't need Prime

Apparently workers at amazon sites are going on strike and are calling on consumers not to partake in Prime Day to put pressure on Amazon. I'm going to heed their call and sit this one out.

In Spain.
Yes, but it is the same Amazon. And really if someone is being mistreated, I don't care less if it's a different country.
