I had this and found that it was too limited.

It does not support 5Ghz

A lot of smart home light switches and plugs don't work reliably through an extender. When you go to the Belkin Wemo site for support, the first thing they recommend is to avoid extenders and connect directly to the router.

Yup mine is in a drawer now. I’ve just switched to a couple of TP-LINK access points for wifi broadcast instead of my router and a whole world of difference.

My amazon echo dot sometimes loses connection and I thought maybe one of these would help. If these aren't very good, is there anything better in a similar price range?
