[Amazon Canada] Vitamix Explorian Blender Refurb $249.99

I don't think this is a repost, I searched.

Amazon has the Refurbished Vitamix Explorian Blender with 64oz low profile jar on sale for $249.99. Doesn't say it's a Prime deal, so I suppose it could end anytime.

If you scroll down to bottom of page the listing suggests it's refurbished by Vitamix in which case it would have a 3 year warranty.. Great deal with 3 years, but I'd avoid if it's only 90days. At this price it's worth buying, return later if it turns out to be just 90days.

Great deal. Grabbed it at Christmas time for $269. It is refurbished by Vitamix. I use mine ever day. Says it is a Prime deal of the day and ends in less than 1.5 hours.

Excellent deal for a top of the line blender. I don't understand who could downvote this.

Amazon's page listing makes it seem like it was refurbished by a third party.

After researching this last time it was on sale, I have learned that these are in fact Vitamix refurbs, meaning that you get a new jar, but a refurb blade and base.

Previous experience buying Vitamix refurbs for friends and family has shown me that the blade is sometimes new as well, with manufacture dates sometimes getting as close as a month from when the blenders arrived.

Both says "Explorian" and "64oz". But different model numbers maybe because one is refurbished. I'm not familiar with this brand, so any help will be appreciated.

They have sub models under the explorian line that are sold with smaller containers (I vaguely remember something about different power ratings too but don’t quote me on that). They should be the same essentially.

Basically $30 for an extra 4 years of warranty and buying new.

Costco is the better buy IMO
