Before the jar is opened I usually store it in the pantry upside down so that the oil moves to the bottom of the container. Once it's opened, I stir it so the oil mixes in and then put it in the fridge so that it's easier to spread every time I use it. It's still not as easily spreadable as the regular kind, but we make do.mc_molineux wrote: ↑Jan 12th, 2018 4:59 amWhat's the trick to using this? The label says to keep it in the fridge, I guess because it is "natural", but this made it hard and nearly impossible to spread. I liked the taste, but it wasn't the most practical.

I do the same thing except the fridge part. I just put it in the cupboard, where it's fine for at least a few weeks.mochachicka wrote: ↑Jan 12th, 2018 10:41 amBefore the jar is opened I usually store it in the pantry upside down so that the oil moves to the bottom of the container. If you don't plan on going through the entire jar in less than a month, it's a good idea to refrigerate.

I mix it for a few minutes after opening then keep it in the fridge. I mostly have it on toast so I put a chunk of it on my bread as soon as it it pops out of the toaster and put the second slice on top. This warms/softens it up, making it easy to spread after a minute or two.

Not everyone lives where you live or near a No Frills. Also stated in the OP that it's a "warm" deal partly because it's an Add-On. Plenty of people are sitting with just under the free shipping amount in their cart looking for an Add-On item that they'll regularly buy anyway. This fits the bill for many of them.jackass_ca wrote: ↑Jan 12th, 2018 9:09 amHere, whenever the Kraft peanut butter goes on sale, this always does too, the regular varieties are 1 KG and the natural is the 750g like this one. No deal considering you have to order a certain amount to get the ADDON pricing. No frills has it all on sale right now.
Please keep sending them back. If everyone does this, eventually they'll learn the lesson.jackass_ca wrote: ↑Jan 12th, 2018 9:09 amAnd lots of the Natural in our local store. Plus I can check the BB date and not see that it's close or past when it arrives from Amazon. Have ordered add-on or sale food merch from Amazon in the past, that has come with a BB date that is within a month, or past. Even when contacting them about it, and them apologizing and sending another item, it came, with an even older date.

Are you sure you're referring to the "Natural" version? It's way better than Jiff, imo.

I can't believe how cheap kraft peanut butter has gotten. It's always on sale at shoppers and no frills.
Couldn't believe seeing it at all time low at no frills $2.97
