I've received two Thailand-made EMAZ white label drives so far, 256GB cache and helium. Newer versions of SMART readers can identify helium, it is code#22 (16 hex).

Surprised nobody had any feedback on this. Ended up ordering a replacement drive assuming the first one is DOA. Will see if the new one is any better vibration-wise.

Replacement didn't even have air cushioning in the shipping box. Suffice to say, the replacement was even louder and went back.

Sticking with Seagate going forward.
