OP trust me you will be downvoted a lot for posting this as this has been 20$ (CAD) many times in the past on amazon.ca. Better one (TP link mini) was 20$ or 35$ for 2 on Black Friday and expect the same on boxing day.

I got two of these beasts for $23 CAD due to incompetent couriers. Needed to use a power bar just to handle their massive girth as they're all up on the lower outlet when plugged into the wall. They need to learn how to stay in their lane.

Does anyone know if it's possible to control these when you're not on the wifi network (i.e. when you're away from home)?
I'm assuming you can control them only if you're connected to the wifi.
