I read the reviews saying that. I already own 1 - 3 on DVD so I'm not going to buy this set. I thought it would be good for someone who doesn't own any of them.

Isn't $10 per blu-ray for the die hard series? Then better buy 4 separate blu-rays and get 4 $10 movie coupons.

I have the first three on DVD, the 5 star collection. I also have the last blu-ray release and I can say that the blu-ray quality was a noticeable improvement.

They are just crappy transfers from the film source. The film stock will always have a higher quality over the HD transfers on disc. Plus they said the new set isn't really worth that much of an upgrade on the previous Blu-ray set. That can be found for under $20 at a lot of places and worth the price easily. Live Free or Die Hard is one hell of a demo disc for the sound alone
