Seems like ok deal $175 all in which is about $156 pre-tax. This is their budget line sad btw.

The intel 660p 1TB NVME is $159 on newegg.ca, no reason to buy a SATA drive.
I workout to get big so I can pickup bricks and ****.

the intel 660P 1TB NVME on newegg is much better
unless you don't have NVME slot

I don't understand, why is CAD 175.29 considered a good price for 1TB QLC SATA SSD ? Because it's Samsung?

Crucial MX500 is $188 before tax
WD Blue 3D NAND is $ 173.98 before tax
Team Group L5 LITE 3D is $149.99 before tax
Mushkin Enhanced Reactor (MLC) is $189.99 before tax
All on newegg.ca.

Don't forget price match, or ebay coupons are available from time to time, to bring down the actual cost.
