Your price $75.72 before discount does not seem right. Make sure you buy it from amazon: Ships from and sold by Amazon.com
How other poster pay just $73.xx, may be he got less tax to pay in his province?

Nothing wrong with that price assuming he bought the yellow tortoise frame.

If looking for sunglasses in general, I recommend SmartBuyGlasses.com. They are cheap, fast and of the 2 pairs of sunglasses and 2 pairs of frames I have ordered off of them, no indication that they are counterfeit. Exact same packaging/labelling (except it even came with a box!) as those from Lenscrafters. My sunglasses took a little longer, but my frames were shipped with priority mail and arrived next business day (total: 2 days after ordering). You can also usually find a 5% off promo code. No tax, no duty, no brokerage charges.

When shopping online though, I recommend going to Lenscrafters to use them as a B&M showroom. I'm sure they don't mind, much of their product, distribution channels and manufacturing is by the same parent company, Luxottica- they basically own the world glasses industry.

i'm paying same tax as you, 13%. i ordered a few pairs for friends and family...my shipping was $20.95 for a few pairs so that's where the extra savings came from.

FWIW I bought the non polarized ones in the summer but ended up returning them. I do a lot of driving and found that I needed more protection from glare...these shades will always let more light and glare in from the sides due to their flat shape.

I' ve found that most LCD screens are more difficult (occasionally impossible) to read with polarized sunglasses on but it's worth it for the added protection especially if you do a lot of driving or any fishing, watersports etc...

Thanks OP, ordered it in tortoise.
Shipping Method: AmazonGlobal Expedited Shipping
Items: $75.51
Shipping & handling: $10.98
Promotion Applied: -$15.10
------
Total before tax: $71.39
Estimated tax to be collected: $0.00
Import Fees Deposit $11.52
------
Order total: $82.91

Paid 2 dollars more for the slightly faster shipping. I was contemplating so hard on black polarized vs. tortoise non-polarized since the polarized version for the tortoise was significantly more expensive.

Good video. Two things to note:
1) The guy asked why is it cheaper on amazon? It is like prices in US are always cheaper than in Canada :) amazon is much much bigger than sunglass hut so amazon always get a preferential rate against other retailers for sure.
2) The guy mentioned some comments complaining about counterfeit.. these comments must come from people who bought these glasses from 3rd party sellers.

Conclusion: the pair from amazon looks much better (the way authenticity should be) than the other pair from sunglass hut!

People are just a little spooked by negative comments. They are 100% legit and much cheaper than any Canadian retailers. Spring is just around the corner so get your shades on ;)
