Amazon removing ADs from lockscreens of prime exclusive phones

If you're a US prime member this might be of interest to you, Amazon has announced that they are pushing an update to remove ADs from the lock screens of their prime exclusive phones, current lineup is "slim pickings" (most likey due to this update, new phones will be $20 more starting tomorrow), but there are some Motorolas and LGs . lol - they're charging a $20 premium to remove a feature that they're not allowed to implement at all?

It's about time. I've avoided Amazon Motorola's because they're among the few Moto's that don't allow bootloader unlocking.
