This season is so boring and over-dramatized...I'm not watching anymore

The first season had some good drama and suspense.
This season, it feels like some of the characters are being over dramatic, some are under dramatic (omg, the reaction Rick gave his wife when he found out she was hooking up with Shane...), and overall, this season took wayyy too long to progress to where it is now.
You can't tell me the second season thus far is anywhere close to how well the first season was done._______________

I think they're about on par. We have rose-coloured glasses about the first season but it has the same meandering pace as this one, but it was shorter. In terms of the melodrama, this is basically exactly how it was handled in the books, including Rick's reactions to Shane.

most of the second season was just dragged on way too long but WOW, the finale actually made everything COMPLETELY worth it and you see the reason why certain story lines were being developed so slowly. for those that tuned out, i totally recommend watching the whole season in full. this is coming from a huge walking dead hater too (thought the first season got weaker as it progressed).

Man...
People have been telling me about how great the comics are compared to the TV show. That Andrea and T dog are much better characters.
Well I went and got all of the comics. WORST MONEY I HAVE EVER SPENT.
Sure... Andrea is a natural killer in the comic. But does that make sense? No... how in the HELL does some chick who has never held a gun before become a stone cold killer with perfect aim? HUH?
Also... T dog (or what ever the black dude in the comic is called), just shows up one episode with a hammer in his hand and starts whooping ass. lol what?
The comic makes it seem as if the characters are just natural killers, leaders, etc. Not only that, but the comic with Shane exploding makes no sense either. The reader gets no background into the relationship between him and Lory, and because of that it seems unrealistic that someone who is pretty much a brother to another man would just kill him out of the blue.
TLDR;
Comic sucks

Its called building character. which i think its why i love this series thus far. It cant be all about zombies left to right. Like someone said, its a DRAMA series. but the mid season finale was great. Ill agree at some points you said like Rick's reaction. But comparing the first season to the second season is crazy. First season was about introducing the characters and the world they now live in. Second season so far is about building their characters and thats why its slow.
I understand alot of viewers want action action and more action, i get that but you also gotta build a storyline.
Cant wait til next Sunday!!

I wish they had followed the comics just a bit longer (the prison, Michonne and the Woodbury folks). Then spin it off a different direction and it would have made for a much better storyline than a farm house.

LOL, I thought that was the end of the season.
Doesn't AMC usually stick to 12 episode seasons?_______________

Marathon this weekend starting on Saturday. They are starting with season 1 episode 1. So for those that have missed it and want to catch up, now is the time. Sunday is the first half of season 2 leading up to the new episode.
I just rewatched the last episode and still cried at the end even though I knew what was going to happen.
