How long do they take to refund the full amount (price/duties/taxes) if I return my purchase by mail?
I bought 2 separate purchase of $20 each of clothing from AE with an item from 77kids for the free shipping and return label. I was wondering if I should return all of them by mail? I would use the 20% coupon and buy online to save ~$8. Maybe this is too troublesome?

Anyway, since I actually received (one of) them in an e-mail, I won't feel guilty about using them. I might buy a hoodie for the $30 coupon, and then maybe a pair of jeans using the $50 one. Thanks for posting!
And I SINCERELY hope people won't spam these... these are too generous of an offer to be abused!
how do you get those coupon in your email? is there a link where you can register for it?

Did you even bother to visit their site? It's right at the bottom of their homepage.

I've registered my email for their special promotions, but I've never received any links to a coupon for $20 when buy $50. I've only ever received 10% off or free shipping, that's it.

Sign up at: http://www.ae.com/web/mailinglist/ae_mailing_list.jsp
They are selective on who to give these printable coupons to. (IE: 20% of the people that signed up with receive $10 off $30, and another 20% will receive $20 off $50 etc.)
Use multiple e-mail addresses and forward them to your main e-mail maybe? (I use Gmail to forward mail to my Hotmail)
Or just check back on this thread.

I noticed too, it seems to me they randomly select people to send these printable coupons to. This time, I received both of them in my e-mail (different accounts).
But it's good that people can share their findings in this thread so everyone can benefit.

So I should be able to use the coupon, even if someone else has used it? I thought that each coupon was unique (different barcodes)?

I dont think it matters, tons of people used the $10 OFF coupon last time around.
I added different versions of the coupon just in case 1 doesnt work.

I went to the Yorkdale location today, and they accepted my coupon no questions asked. The cashier said it was no problem, but then had a little trouble scanning the bar code. I started to get a bit nervous, but then a manager just helped her do it manually!
I bought a pair of skinny jeans ($49.50) and a sweater ($19.95), which totaled to about $78 with taxes, but after they took the $20 off, the bill came out to $55.88. In the end I saved $23 (:

I don't think AE sells "skinny" jeans. Maybe slim fit?

I'm pretty stoked; I got one of those quilted hoodies (one left in my size!). When they first came out, they were $60. Then, clearance dropped them to $30. And then, coupon! $20 for a $60 hoodie.
And it's really warm, too (you really can "lost the jacket" for cool-ish days)
