Oh, the irony.

I picked up one with Dealfind this past week, $149, I know the specs aren't great but it does have expandable memory upto 32gigs, 3 usb ports and Android market place and for the price it will make a decent web browser and e reader.

Do you really want a tablet running Android 2.2, when the newest tablets are running 3.2?
Does anyone know if the O/S can be updated?

No it can't be updated. The specs speak for itself, it won't be able to run honeycomb with the specs it has.

You can get much better tablets for slightly more at TigerDirect anyways.

Even the kindle fire is going to be more powerful than this. Android 2.2 is not really a very good OS for web browsing anyway.
Looks like Groupon and Dealgetters also have similar android tablet deals showing up now. Original price for both quoted as $300+ which is a complete joke. For that much you're better off with a BB Playbook or Acer Tablet.

For a few more bucks..
I would just get the Kindle Fire. Seriously, wouldn't you want a reliable company behind it?

No, I hate reliable companies. You need to live a little
Actually with the amount you save with this tablet deal, if anything goes wrong with your item- you would prob be spending as much trying to ship it back to wherever.
And is their service centre even in Canada?
I know I had an issue with my laptop last year and I just had to bring it to the local authorized service centre for HP or whatever.
Do the tablets from these deal sites even have a warranty? and can you return them?
if you do get one do not buy from XSV360 they do not even guarantee their items will work more than 1 week. And if you need to return something they will charge you 20%.
