According to the geeks, 5.0 is going out to all eligible Nexus devices today. Hooray!

Perfect. As soon as the AOKP releases a ROM with it, I will give a try.

Looking forward to it. My N5 will wait for Purity ROM to be updated, but I expect my N7 to upgrade today.

Keep in mind that Google likes to release the updates in phases. Every time an update gets released, I tend to receive them about a day or two later. :(

Looking forward to it. I don't mind the wait. I can see that the N4 may get laggy though running Lollipop lol.

Why? N4 is still spec'ed better than today's mid-range phones (Moto G?), and assuming that from now on many phones including entry/mid-range will run on Lollipop, Lollipop should run very smoothly on Nexus 4.

Most N4's still running today have dying batteries. Lollipop is supposed to improve performance + battery life, but let's see if that holds true for legacy hardware..

I haven't seen anyone on the web post anything about actually getting the OTA update on anything yet.

That may be true but since I have had the Nexus 4 for almost two years now, the hardware has become "old" also. Especially the battery and such. My phone lags on Jelly Bean a lot, and its annoying. I've tried ART runtime as well, and the same thing happens.

N4 shouldn't lag on JB at all, you should consider factory reset it if you have not done that in years.

I am flashing it the moment I see the system image. OTA is too slow :D

I have never suffered from any performance other than shortened battery life with my 2-yr-old N4. At least on the day-to-day usage it did not have any noticeable difference from other flagship phones from my friends/colleagues including Nexus 5 or GN3.
I would strongly suggest to do a factory reset.

Factory resets have been performed over the course of two years. I do this once in 3 months.

Nice, I hope this improves my N5 battery life, otherwise I'll consider a new phone.

I love Material Design and after watching MKBHD's review on it I'm sold on nexus 6. :)
