The Kindle Tablet HD version of Angry Birds Star Wars HD is also free today! Normally costs 2.99. Also, it said I got 30 coins for purchasing it, not sure what that means but I'll take it!

Thanks downloaded almost all of them!

Splashtop Remote Desktop HD is for tablet only I think. When it starts up, its only in landscape mode. Cant even close the instructions screen because its too oversized for my phone screen. Then the app crashes. I have a samsung s2x with stock Jellybean.

Next I tried Splashtop Remote Desktop and it logs in, screen layout is better but It cut off some of the icons on the edge of my desktop. It also doesnt resize applications very well. They are too big and go off the screen. No idea how to move the box so that I can access the buttons at the bottom of the application since its cut off.
That application that is half on the screen and half off.. I want to type in a box, I bring up the keyboard and it covers the application so I cant see what im typing. No idea how to move the application up so I can see the text box. It doesnt type either. The only way to get the keyboard to work is to type one letter. Press back so that the keyboard goes away then open the keyboard again and type one letter and then remove the keyboard etc etc. Omg soooooo annoying! not sure why it does that but this splashtop is not usable.

Next I tried Splashtop 2. It is also free.
Everything is Sized perfectly on the screen! I can zoom, I can type. Everything works perfectly! The only problem is you have to pay to use it when your not on your home network. I think the others you can use away from home for free.

Are these productivity app deals offered regularly? I know there's the daily free app but how do you find these other free apps?

Sad that I missed this as I checked the free app yesterday before you posted the other apps. I second that question asking if these apps will come back as free at any given time? Does this happen more than just the one time yesterday?

A little off topic, but is Google Music available in Canada now?

It has been over one week now that I'm back in Canada after visiting the USA, and I still have full access to Music (free and paid)

I should have opened a new amazon.ca account with my generic gmail account so that these apps can be shared across our household's smartphones. :(

I was experiencing a long bout of brain fart! :)

And why can't you share these apps across all your smartphones using the account you have now?

Hmmm. You are right. So it isn't like Google Play where I have to add the same gmail account across smartphones? I don't want my gmail account on my wife's phone as she might notice some peculiar spending habits based on some RFD Hot Deal thread. LOL.

EDIT:
One advantage of a generic account is that a payment method wouldn't be linked to it, with no possibility that paid apps are actually purchased.
