Shipping cost is tax included. But if you are in TORONTO, you can CASH and PICK UP and NO SHIPPING cost.

Silversnail currently does not have those on their website. They have only "re-sin" statue.

The Garland is $97.99 US at tmpanime (and i could give 10% off for first time buyers) compared to $156 cdn here. even with shipping and exchange you're better off buying it from a us online retailer.

Hi, here is the price at tmanime:

$97.99usd + shipping + 15% tax at border (possible import duty) + (courier adm. fee)

1) $97.99usd + 19usd = 116.99 usd x 1.16 = 135.71 cdn.
2) $135.71cdn x 1.15 tax = $156.07cdn
3) $156 cdn + (if ship by mail canada post charge $5) = $161cdn

Voila you are paying = $161 cdn for buying that from tmanime in the states.
Although my price for the same item is a bit higher I'm attemp to re-price. It cost me brokerage fee to import as business.

My point here is that you need to CAREFULLY calculate the cost for buying from the state before making any ESTIMATE that you are not sure of.

I hope I didn't offend you or anything, just letting you know cost builds up for importing.

I didn't check out their site but I am looking for the Cloud with the Fenrir bike, my friend picked it up for about $80.

I had 2 left and sold one to a friend and one to a customer. It's a hot item. I appologize but I'm out of that stock. I'm trying to get some more but they are sold out. Other places selling too expensive for me to import them. I will try to find other suppliers with better price and will get more later on.

Just pointing out that you're going to need some better pricing to go against some of the established retailers (or carry rare imports that no one has i.e. version 1 low-vis 1/48 valk).

Also note that depending on how it's shipped from the U.S., you might not have to pay any duty. If the seller ships it as a gift then all you pay is your price plus the shipping and handling. I've received a few things from the States that were sent as gifts and I didn't have to pay anything.

If you are sending as gift, the amount has to be $60cdn or below. You will get taxed regardless once you pass the $60 cdn mark. Also, they will do random check so you might have a chance your import item will be checked and re-assessed. Not all store will agree to ship as a gift. If they willing to ship as a gift they have to make a false amount of your item value but if anything happen to the item during shipping (damage or lost) you will loose the item or if it's insured you will probably get the amount the shipper declare.

Kikiwai has two stores, one downtown and one west of Steeles/Warden, though they are pricey.

Hero's World has some anime/manga, mostly comics/merchandise though, and they are located west of Kennedy/Hwy 7.
