AMD Price cuts will be effective April 9th.

Their s/h was quite expensive compare to ncix, free shipping over $100 was over two or three weeks ago otherwise some of these deals are actually quite good.

The 7900GS video card = good price but shipping
Canada Post Regular $17.39 About 2-9 business days - = SUX
But - I caved - bought two - one for me and one for buddy so we split the shipping.
$170 after shipping and taxes and this is a good price.
Same card is $235 at Infonec (before tax)

The 7900GS is a decent deal. I got my BFG back in January from an NCIX sale for $140 AR. I don't expect these cards to ever drop below $130. They'll just get phased out before that happens.

Good price/performance for the 7900GS? I plan on making a desktop with an Intel C2D E6600 and 2GB of DDR2 RAM. If so, I'll stop by Anitec tomorrow and pick one up.

Nothing else, in Canada at least, comes close for $150. In the States you can get the X1950 Pro for really cheap.

the X2 4200+ seems like a very good price.. that the 90nm model or 65nm?
also by april 9th, how much lower in price can these processors go? if a 4200+ becomes like 70 bucks.. forget conroe man lol.. gonna get a x2!_______________

All X2 65nm parts have odd clockspeeds. 1.9/2.1/2.3/2.5Ghz (3600/4000/4400/4800). X2 4200+ is 90nm. Originally Posted by jimmyzaas
