Anyone have experience with these that can comment on if they're a worthwhile investment or not as a gift for someone just looking to fill a small bedroom with some sound? How does it compare to the Cambridge SoundWorks OontZ Angle 3 PLUS?

I have a SoundCore2. It's pretty loud and can definitely fill a small bedroom. Sound is crisp. Also works as speakerphone for my phone.

The price is pretty good. I paid $40 USD on sale.

I have the soundcore boost which is the premium model of Anker and it's good, certainly enough to fill out a room. There are some good youtube videos reviewing these speakers.

EUFY powervac robot vacuum on sale right now at a considerable discount for Cyber Monday. Great reviews - outperforms several higher end models apparently

I bought my wife a Soundcore (first gen, I believe) last year, and she likes it. She uses it at her office. She says it fills the space fine, and although she isn't an audiophile, she is a trained musician, do I doubt she'd put up with it if it were downright terrible.

I can't compare it with the 2 on sound quality, but I see the new model has a water resistance rating that isn't advertised for the older one. It's not exactly waterproof, but if you were going to use it in a wet or humid environment, that might be worth considering.

Those reviews look super suspect. I know for a fact that Aukey pays for reviews

What seems suspect about them? Not saying you're incorrect but what about these specifically? I've had my eye on this for a while and though the reviews seem impartial to me (highlight good and bad - generally positive), you've got me second guessing...

Reviewmeta: PASS

Fakespot: C grade

While the grading isn't the best, Anker does generous refunds if you complain to them

Owned all 3 (Oontz, soundcore 1 and 2). Definitely go with the Oontz 3 plus, superior sound with decent bass and the battery lasts a ridiculous ~40 hours.

The anker speakers get loud but lack in bass. Wasn't satisfied with them. Recommend spending a little more for a JBL flip or Sony, if you aren't about spending $200 for a Bose SL Mini 2 (My favorite mini speaker in my collection).
