Its our 1 year anniversary and i have no idea what to get her. She wanted this sweater at Aritzia but i just wanna see your guy's opinions!

I just had this dilemma last weekend! I was short on time, so I couldn't prepare any very meaningful thing like a scrapbook of the year we spent together and etc. So I got her a Tiffany necklace and pendent, she likes it a lot. I also recommend you give her something that is somewhat meaningful (because 1 year anniversary is meaningful), not something easily disposable after a while like shoes, perfume and etc. It should be long lasting. However, if she really wants that sweater, then go for it.

okay just found out from a friend who works at aritzia that the sweater can only be specially ordered and it wont come in for 2 weeks so now the sweater is out of the question

i refuse to give any more suggestions for these "i'm clueless and i need help" anniversary threads unless my name and a copy of this thread goes in the card.

seriously though you haven't even told us anything about her, yet complete strangers are supposed to come up with the perfect gift?
-how old are you guys? (not an insult but could change the type of gift given)
-favourite hobbies?
-does she like to eat out? travel?
-is she high maintenance? easy going?
-etc etc etc.

-buy a nice artbook and fill it with photos and captions of the two of you. fill in things like when you first met, what you think of her, etc. as time goes by you could make a tradition and each person adds something to the book.

-get a small fish bowl, a really colourful fish, rocks, and have something custom made to place inside the bowl that would have some special meaning. name the fish. then kill it and eat it. it's a good bonding experience (ymmv on that last bit).

-u2 tickets for 2010 (or something in the concert/sport outing genre)
